Our area high school students, ages 15-18, are in search of employment, or work experience as interns. Many seniors are in search of permanent positions to begin a career upon graduation.

PIEDMONT FUTURES invites our business community to help these young people by providing them with opportunities for bettering themselves. Young talent and energy can revitalize your organization and give new perspective, while high schoolers and graduates learn firsthand the value of being task-oriented, working as a team and fulfilling customer and colleague expectations.

PIEDMONT FUTURES encourages a wide range of workplace experiences for our students through jobs and internships.

Permanent Employment may be available in your organization. Please share your Web link to position descriptions along with your application process and application form. Not online? Let us know the details and share your application - we will scan these items and post your position to our website with your contact information (see Form).

You may also have Temporary Employment opportunities, either part-time or over the summer, that can give a student or graduate invaluable job experience and workplace training. Give your Web link to part-time or seasonal opportunities along with how to apply. If you do not have a website, simply describe the duties and responsibilities of the position and let us scan your application to post this opportunity to our website (see Form).

Willing to develop a distinctive opportunity for our area students and get that special project done that you always wanted completed?

Piedmont Internship Possibilities (PIP) are job-site internships that integrate classroom academic study with practical work-related experience in business, industry, government, professional associations and non-profit or other organizations. Internships may be paid (set stipend) or unpaid and are for varying time periods for after-school hours and weekends, over weeklong vacation breaks and particularly in the summer months (see Form to describe internship and application details).
