During the 10th Grade Career Day at Piedmont Virginia Community College, students learn about career areas and the education and training required for success. When students arrive at PVCC, they hear from two speakers in career areas of their choice for 45 minutes each. Area business professionals serve as presenters at the seminars.
It's not too early to sign up as a speaker! We will assign you a 45-minute session when we get the schedule from the schools in January 2010. The following high schools participate: Albemarle, Western Albemarle, Monticello, Murray, Charlottesville, Fluvanna, Nelson and William Monroe.
