Degree graduates of PVCC are to demonstrate competency in the following General Education areas: oral and written communication, critical thinking, cultural and social understanding, information literacy, personal development, quantitative reasoning and scientific reasoning. Refer to the VCCS Policy Manual, Section 5, page 2, for a complete list of the VCCS General Education Outcomes.
Each term, graduating students are required to complete a Graduate Exit Survey and one or more "core competency" assessments in the above general education areas. Results are reported in the summaries below.
