Browser Settings
Please use the most recent version of Internet Explorer to access your student E-Mail.

  1. Login to your Internet Service Provider (AOL, MSN, etc.), then minimize the window and open Internet Explorer
  2. Download the latest version of Internet Explorer. Windows users can upgrade their version of Internet Explorer by opening it, and selecting Tools > Windows Update from the menu bar.

If you are having difficulties logging in, try clearing your cache.

Do the following to delete your computer's cache:

  1. Open your web browser
  2. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Temporary Internet Files
  3. Click Delete files
  4. Click Delete Cookies
  5. Go to Settings
  6. Check for newer versions of stored pages
  7. Choose Every visit to the page

Password
Your username and password are required to access online college services. If you are a current user of Blackboard or Student email, use your current password.

If you have not logged in for several months, your password may have expired and will need to be reset. You can reset your password here.

If you have forgotten or do not know your password, you can reset your password here.

If you have problems setting your password, you should contact your college by calling the PVCC Help Desk at 434.961.5261 or by visiting the PVCC Support Request page.

Attachments
Instructions on how to send an attachment:

If you sent an e-mail with an attachment and recipient does not receive the file Follow these steps

  1. Compose your e-mail
  2. Spell Check your e-mail*
  3. Attach your file

*Spell check will remove an attached file. Please be sure to spell check before attaching a file to your e-mail.

Miscellaneous
If you see someone else's E-Mail when you login try the following:

- Click the "Logoff" link (see picture)

- Click OK for "Are you sure you want to logoff?"
- Log back in

You should see your E-Mail, if not trying clearing your cache (see Browser Settings above)
