CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER
PVCC seeks a part-time IT Client Services Specialist for the
IT Help Desk. Opening is for daytime Monday-Friday,
averaging 30 hours per week.
Reference and criminal
background checks are required.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicates with students, faculty and staff on
technical support issues, directly and via email or
telephone. Includes resolving software, hardware
issues, student registration
account issues, and providing general information. Uses telephone and
email effectively. Follows up on issues.

Troubleshoots
problems and performs remedying tasks or provides
instruction to resolve support issue. Provides
computer support in faculty and staff offices, labs, and
other college locations. Occasional off-site
duties.

Assists
students and faculty/staff with
Microsoft Office, student email, printing,
scanning, web pages, and other supported software.

As needed,
researches products and techniques and makes
recommendations to Manager of Client Services.

Performs necessary maintenance tasks in academic labs.

Installs computer
software and configures as necessary. Installs
hardware components.

Assists prospective
students with the application and enrollment process.
