There are
immediate openings to teach at Fluvanna Correctional Center
for Women, Buckingham and Dillwyn Correctional Centers.
Reference and criminal background checks are required.
Qualifications:
·
Faculty requirements for these positions are a master's
degree in teaching field or master's degree with 18 graduate
course hours in subject.
General Duties and Responsibilities for Adjunct Position:
-
Teaching & Advising
-
Teach a specified number of hours each week per semester
as assigned – may include day and evening sections, on-
and off-campus, and distance learning technologies
-
Maintain at least 1 office hour weekly per course taught
-
Evaluate course instruction in accordance with
established policy
-
Advise students in course selection and curricular
requirements
-
Participate when applicable and practical in
co-curricular activities

endorsed in writing by the VP of Instruction and
