POSITION TITLE: Adjunct (Part-time) Instructors for
the Spring 2008 semester
Economics
Reference and criminal background checks are required.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree with (18) graduate semester hours
in the teaching field.

These positions may include day and evening sections,
on- and off-campus locations, and distance learning
technologies.
-
Recent classroom teaching experience is preferred for
all positions.
General
Duties and Responsibilities for Adjunct Position:
-
Teaching & Advising
-
Teach a specified number of hours each week per semester
as assigned – may include day and evening sections, on-
and off-campus, and distance learning technologies
-
Maintain at least 1 office hour weekly per course taught
-
Evaluate course instruction in accordance with
established policy
-
Advise students in course selection and curricular
requirements
-
Participate when applicable and practical in
co-curricular activities

academic preparation for any of the categories shown
above. Exceptions must be fully justified on an

in writing by the appropriate division dean and
endorsed in writing by the VP of Instruction and
