In addition to a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant to bolster the engineering program, PVCC has also received an NSF grant to fund a scholarship program for science, engineering and computer science students with financial need. The SciTE scholarships are available for current students who are enrolled or intend to enroll, full time in an associate of science degree program with the goal of transferring to a bachelor's degree program at a four-year school. To qualify for funds, students must show a demonstrated financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This scholarship program allows PVCC to further assist students who intend to pursue a career in science and engineering.
