Counseling sessions are confidential. Information obtained during counseling sessions will not be disclosed to any outside persons or agencies without a student's written permission except when required by state or federal laws.

When a student's needs cannot be met through the counseling office, we will make referrals as appropriate to community resources in the Central Virginia region.
