Logging in to Blackboard
Now that you have your username and password you are ready to
log in.
Go to the following web site: http://pv.my.vccs.edu
You are presented with a login form.
- Enter your username
- Enter your password
- Click the 'Log In' button
If you cannot access Blackboard, first try the password reset visible below the login fields. If you still have trouble e-mail bbsupport@pvcc.edu with your full name, Student ID / EmpID and contact information. You can also call the PVCC Help Desk at
434.961.5261.
After you log in you should see a welcome screen with your
name on it.
This site is a single place to sign on to access Blackboard, Student Information System (SIS8.9) [also known as PeopleSoft] and Student e-mail.
From here you can click on the links for each of these tools as needed in the next few sections.
