PVCC provides a number of services to help area employers recruit qualified staff from among PVCC's many talented students. If you have questions about any of the services summarized below, contact PVCC's Job Placement Officer.

Job and Internship Postings
Use JobNet, a FREE online recruiting service for employers, to post your job and internship opportunities. Students have 24/7 access to the information on JobNet. Another way to advertise job opportunities at PVCC is through the job board, located in the Counseling hallway outside of Room M132. This space includes announcements about PVCC job fairs and local and regional recruiting events. Employers wanting to post information on the job board should e-mail detailed information to careers@pvcc.edu.

On-Campus Recruiting
Employers are always welcome to recruit on-campus. To arrange on-campus visits, contact PVCC's Job Placement Officer.

Job Fairs
Since 1983, PVCC has hosted an annual job fair on-campus every spring semester for all industries in Central Virginia. We are a partner with the Charlottesville Community Job Fair during the fall semester. Check our Web site for dates and times.

Internship Program
Through PVCC's Internship Program, students integrate classroom study with related work experience in business, industry, government, nonprofits or professional associations. In turn, employers benefit from a pool of skilled applicants, lower recruitment costs and a structured career development program.

Employer Speakers Series
Increase the visibility of your organization by being a guest speaker for at one of our Employer Speakers events. You will have an opportunity to discus workplace expectations, share information about jobs and internships and discuss the benefits of working for your company. Career Services will assist you with set-up for these events.
