PVCC Students Emily Traylor and Elena Morales are named to the All-Virginia Academic Team. Traylor is also named one of the top 10 community college students in Virginia as part of the Coca-Cola All-State Community College Academic Team.

For the third consecutive year, Piedmont Virginia Community College is named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll in recognition of the outstanding service efforts and volunteerism by its students, faculty and staff.

PVCC Student Jacob Neal is named the top community college student in Virginia and to the prestigious All-USA Academic First Team. He is the third PVCC student to be so honored.

President Friedman receives the Virginia Piedmont Technology Council's Community Award, given to an organization that has demonstrated the greatest commitment to improving the quality of life in Central Virginia through community involvement.
